There was once a person playing in the park. They looked down and saw hundreds of acorns lying on the grass They picked one up, carried it to a place where there weren’t any trees and planted it. They came back day after day. Nothing seemed to be happening. But underneath, the roots were growing. The up came a tiny shoot. The shoot started to grow. The tree grew, and the person grew too. Birds flew to the tree, and some made nests. There were worms and beetles and caterpillars… all sorts of creatures lived there! Each Autumn, the oak tree would drop its acorns, and sometimes a person would pick one up.
